| Alison has overall responsibility for the day to day management of the scheme, securing funding and maintaining an overview of the work with families, volunteers and referrers and the wider community.
Alison joined Home-Start in 2003 as Co-ordinator and was promoted to Senior Co-ordinator in March 2010.
Alison supports volunteers and works with families in the east of Dundee. Alison also provides training to prospective Volunteers and ongoing training to existing Volunteers.
Alison chairs the Young Parents’ Workers’ Forum (formerly known as the MANDY Group). This group meets on a quarterly basis and is an opportunity for workers who provide a service to young parents to share and exchange information and ideas. Members include Voluntary Organisations, Dundee College, Family Support Workers, etc. If anyone would like further information about this group please contact Alison.
