Dundee enables us to help local families who are finding
it difficult to cope.
MISSION STATEMENT
To give children the best possible start in life by supporting
parents as they grow in confidence, strengthen their relationships
with children and widen their links with the local community.

Each Home-Start scheme is locally funded. Home-Start
Dundee needs funding to maintain and develop their work
with families. At the moment our core funding is from
Dundee City Council and Tayside Health Board.
Additional funding has been received from various trusts.

Home-Start Dundee believes that parents play the key
role in ensuring children have a happy and secure childhood,
but even the most dedicated parents can face challenges
that prevent them doing all they want for their children.
Home-Start Dundee helps families to achieve their full
potential by offering a unique service of friendly, informal
and confidential support to parents who are experiencing
a variety of difficulty, including: isolation, family
crisis, stress and relationship breakdown.
