As the support meetings have not been well attended we have decided to have these meetings every second month with ongoing training offered in the months between.

At last we have received notification of our funding from Dundee City Council. Unfortunately we were notified too late to organise a Christmas event for families.

This year's AGM was held in the Queens Hotel on Wednesday 24th September. Our guest speaker for the evening was Dr Suzanne Zeedyk who recently said "I feel so privileged to be able to contribute so actively to the work Home-Start does because it is so important to give families such support."

On 30th October 2008 some of our families enjoyed a Parents Pampering day in the Queens Hotel. Debbie Gorski provided hair styling whilst Gillian Davidson provided facials and make up, the creche was supervised by Childcare@home.

On Wednesday 13th August 2008 we went on an outing to Auchengarrich Wildlife Park with volunteers and families we support. Everyone said they really enjoyed the day.
