We plan to hold training events again in February, April, June, August and October. Some ideas for these were Family Mediation, Drugs and Alcohol, Disability, Mental health, Visually Impaired, Health & Safety, Womens Rape, International Womens Centre, Inclusion Group, Child Protection and Religious Festivals. The Board of Trustees of Home-Start Dundee wish to announce that Alison Kettles has successfully gained promotion to the post of Senior Co-ordinator, commencing on 1st March. Many thanks to the families who completed and returned the above questionnaires. This information is very useful to us as it helps us to identify areas which we can improve on and also shows the volunteers how much their help is appreciated.
All families who returned the questionnaire said that they would recommend the volunteers and the voluntary service to others. 78% agreed that without the volunteers, I could never expect to receive this much help.
Some family comments: Having a volunteer has helped me to get out with my child and it helps having someone to talk to and it has given me increased confidence and coping with life.
