Who Can Be Referred?

 

 

Families choose to accept Home-Start support.  Any family with at least one child under five years of age may be referred to Home-Start for support if they are suffering stress or experiencing difficulties.

 

“Many children crying at the same time, a parent unemployed, a mother or father left alone to cope, these are just a few of the occasions when Home-Start have been able to offer their care and support” -  Health Visitor.

                                              Social Workers                                 Playgroup Workers

                                      Community Psychiatric Nurses           Families themselves (Self-Referrals)

                                                   Teachers                                            GPs

                                                                         And many others
